Shahr Ramadhan, a month of growth. A holy month for reflection, self-improvement, and spiritual growth. It is a time when Muslims around the world engage in fasting, prayer, and acts of charity. As we strive to improve ourselves during this blessed month, we can draw guidance from the wisdom of our revered leaders, Imam Ali (AS) and Prophet Mohammed (SAWW). Here are three key points to focus on during this month:

Learn to not have a transactional mindset when helping others.

As Imam Ali (AS) once said, “The best of people is the one who benefits others.” We should strive to help others without expecting anything in return, knowing that our good deeds will be rewarded by Allah (SWT). [image of person helping another]

Focus on Tawfiq.

Tawfiq refers to the divine help and guidance that Allah (SWT) provides to those who seek it. As Prophet Mohammed (SAWW) said, “The one who wants guidance will be guided.” We should strive to increase our connection with Allah (SWT) during this month, seeking His guidance and help in all that we do. Improving Sabr.

Sabr, or patience, is a crucial virtue in Islam. As Imam Ali (AS) said, “Patience is the key to relief.” During this month, we should focus on improving our patience and endurance, especially when facing challenges and difficulties. We can do this by seeking guidance from Allah (SWT) through prayer and reflection. [image of person meditating]

As we strive to improve ourselves during this Holy Month of Ramadhan, let us remember the wise words of Imam Ali (AS) and Prophet Mohammed (SAWW), and focus on helping others without expectation, seeking divine guidance, and improving our patience and endurance. May Allah (SWT) bless us all during this blessed month and guide us towards righteousness.
